The influence of the thermal state of lubricating oil for friction in combustion engine

Abstract: The results resistance of loss motion diesel engine for different temperatures of lubricating oil is presented in the paper. Tests were performed to evaluate the effect of lubricating oil temperature of friction losses in engine. In addition to friction losses in the bearings of the crankshaft and a group of piston ringspistoncylinder, the friction loss due to charge exchange in the cylinder drive system and oil pump were measured also. The research results shows the progress resistance of loss motion engine.
