“…These differentiated cells (pTHP-1 cells) have been reported to display unique characteristics compared with parental nTHP-1 cells, including increased phagocytic activity, altered expression of Toll-like receptors (TLR), and re-wiring of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways (Schwende et al 1996;Daigneault et al 2010;Richter et al 2016).
