The Influential Factors of Taiwan SMEs’ Clustering Keystone Business Strategy—The Perspective of Business Ecosystem Using FAHP

Abstract: Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are usually lacking in resources and technical capabilities. Clusters are considered to be a common development pattern to promote resource sharing and information exchange among SMEs. The business ecosystem provides a new perspective for contemporary companies. Through the symbiosis and evolution of the biomimetic system, companies can pursue their own interests on the platform and, at the same time, promote the growth of the overall ecosystem. This study used manufacturing… Show more

“…Saaty [35] introduced AHP to analyze the decisions regarding complex and multiple evaluation criteria under uncertainty and ensure consistency in chaotic decision-making processes. AHP can determine each criterion's weight and execution priority by creating a pairwise comparison matrix and comparing each criterion with its lower-layer criteria sequentially (specifically, it compares and identifies the degree of influence between different layers) [13]. However, traditional AHP suffers from fuzziness.…”

“…Subsequently, FAHP has been employed in numerous studies. Using AHP combined with the fuzzy theory, Chen, Wu, Chen, and Huang [13] argued that the maintenance personnel of factories could develop an optimal maintenance strategy for each component of specific equipment. Using fuzzy Delphi combined with FAHP, Chauhan, et al [37] examined technology-driven enablers of supply chain responsiveness in an uncertain and FAHP can simplify complex evaluation criteria and determine their weights through a clear hierarchical structure.…”
