The magnetic moment of the 10+ isomer in140Ce andE1 transitions inN=82 isotones caused by outer subshell configurations

Abstract: Using the reaction 13SBa(c~,2n)14~ the magnetic moment of the 10~ isomer at Ex = 3714.7 keV in the N = 82 nucleus 14~ has been determined by means of the TDPAD method to # = + 10.3(4)#N-Measured g-factors in ~4~ are compared to calculations within the shell model with configuration mixing. For the 10( isomer in 14~ the four proton configuration ~(lg2/2,2d2/2 ) has been found to be dominant.
