The Mystery of Vladimir Nabokov

Abstract: The analysis of the novel Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov (English and Russian versions) has revealed the peculiarities of the novel on the level of contents and the plot and on the lexical level. The results of the analysis make it possible to come to the conclusion that the novel is a multilevel structure, inherently Russian in culture in spite of the abundance of French words and the English context.
