The Order of Study of Vowel Sounds in Introductory and Phonetic Courses in the German Language (On the Material of Statistical and Diachronic Studies)

Abstract: Most ancient vowels in the period of the birth of the German language are revealed. The phonetic structure of a single-root German word in the Old High German and Middle High German periods of the development of the German language is described.
