“…In Lithuania, children from families at risk can receive assistance from Children's Day Centres (hereinafter -CDC), which not only provide social services but also organise children's education (LR socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministro įsakymas "Dėl Akredituotos vaikų dienos socialinės priežiūros teikimo reikalavimų ir rekomendacijų patvirtinimo", 2020). CDC activities are carried out with specific entities and have specific goals: 1) to solve children's social problems, and to organise their education and informal employment by ensuring social work with parents; 2) to create conditions for the socialization and early prevention of children in criminal activities, and to provide social services to families at social risk (Grudulaitė, 2016).
