Errors often occurred when students solve mathematical problems solving, exceedingly when students are faced with contextual story problems. Newman's procedural error analysis classified errors in solved story problems into five categories: reading errors, encoding errors, transformation errors, comprehension errors, and processing skill errors. There were several factors on errors worked by students when solving problems, such as student interest in learning and gender differences. This study aims to describe the problem-solving errors of students, both men, and women, who have high, medium, and low interest in learning to solve story problems on SPLTV material. According to the Newman’s procedure. The research type is a qualitative approach with descriptive. And the research subjects were obtained by using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study include 1) Students of high interest in learning and are making Encoding Errors, and Processing Skill Errors, while students with low interest in learning make Processing Skill Errors, Transformation Errors, and Encoding Errors. 2) Students with a great interest in learning and making encoding errors and processing skills errors. Students with low interest made Comprehension Errors, Encoding Errors, Processing Skill errors, and Transformation Errors.

This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to describe the problem solving process of a professional teacher in finding solutions to problems of the Problem With Contradiction Information type. This research involved 1 mathematics teacher who had a professional teacher education certificate and had taught for at least 5 years (S1) and 1 mathematics teacher who had taught for at least 5 years but did not yet have a professional teacher education certificate (S2) and 1 prospective teacher who was still carrying out studies. S1 and does not yet have a professional teacher education certificate (S3). Data collection was carried out by tests and interviews. The research results showed that only S3 carried out all the IDEAL problem solving indicators and was the only research subject who realized the existence of contradictions in the given problem. Meanwhile, S1 and S2 do not look back and learn. All subjects started solving the problem by reading and making propositions from the problem given. S3 stated that he read twice, namely reading in depth and reading quickly to review the known data. S1 experienced Pythagorean priming when implementing the Making a Drawing and Backwards strategy. Meanwhile, S2 in implementing the Backwards strategy often has to do some work in his working memory so there are several steps that are not written down. S2 is aware that there is unnecessary data but considers it an open ended question. Meanwhile, S3 succeeded in stating that the question contained elements of contradiction and could not be done in the anticipating outcome and looking back steps. If you want to become a good problem solver then spend most of your time identifying and understanding problems and then determining how to work. Good problem solvers are not in a hurry but are still effective in solving problems. You even need to consider whether the problem can be solved or not.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS matematika materi trigonometri berbasis etnomatematikapada masjid Cheng-Ho di Jember. Peneletian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan sebagai pengukur tingkat kualitas LKS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dan menerapkan penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang dipakai dalam mengukur kualitas LKS berupa lembar validasi, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta lembar tes hasil belajar siswa. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil: 1. Kualitas LKS ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan berada pada kategori yang sangat valid, dimana hasilnya termasuk kedalam persentasi yang cukup tinggi yakni validitas materi sebesar , validitas media sebesar dan desain sebesar . 2. Kualitas LKS ditinjau dari aspek kepraktisan berada pada kategori tinggi ditunjukkan dari angket guru mencapai presentase , todak hanya itu bahkan persetase yang sangat tinggi juga ditunjukkan berdasarkan pada angket siswa dengan perolehan . 3. Kualitas LKS dilihat dari aspek keefektivan termasuk kedalam kategori efektif, ditunjukkannya dengan dicapainya ketuntas individual dan ketuntasan klasikal dalam tes belajar yang diberikan.
