The production of sustainable tourism: concepts and examples from Norway

Abstract: Place, location and locality are examined in the context of the development of tourism in a way that is consistent with the concept of sustainable development. Concepts relating to tourism destination management are discussed in this context and a number of characteristics indicating possible success factors are drawn out.
