The Role of the Arts in Organizational Settings

Abstract: This article explores the significance of three of the arts in organization development (OD). The art of storytelling is discussed through the lenses of music, drama, and poetry. The article discusses how narrative presented through corporate song lyrics, theatrical scripts and techniques, and poems encourages organization members to make creative sense of the organization culture and change.
