The Solubilities and Physicochemical Properties of NaH2PO2–NaCl–H2O, NaH2PO2–Zn(H2PO2)2–H2O, and NaCl–Zn(H2PO2)2–H2O Ternary Systems and in NaH2PO2–NaCl–Zn(H2PO2)2–H2O Quaternary System at 298.15 K

Abstract: The physicochemical properties and solubilities of NaH 2 PO 2 − Zn(H 2 PO 2 ) 2 −H 2 O, NaH 2 PO 2 −NaCl−H 2 O, and NaCl−Zn(H 2 PO 2 ) 2 −H 2 O ternary systems and in NaH 2 PO 2 −NaCl−Zn(H 2 PO 2 ) 2 −H 2 O quaternary system at 298.15 K were investigated via the isothermal method. Invariant point compositions represent the quaternary system were characterized as the following: 10.65% mass NaCl, 32.51% mass NaH 2 PO 2 , 6.50% mass Zn(H 2 PO 2 ) 2 , and 50.34% mass H 2 O. In solid phases, the salts of Zn(H 2 PO … Show more

“…Phase equilibria were determined according to isothermal solubility saturation method. 12,15 All the experiments were carried out at atmospheric pressure (0.1025 MPa). The general procedure of the experiment is as below: 1) In the ternary system, the binary system saturated solution was prepared in a waterproof isolated tube, and placed in a water bath stabilized at 323.15 K.…”

“…The synthesis of hypophosphites obtained from hydroxides of insoluble elements in the water is generally synthesized both via multi-step reactions and expensively. 4,[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15] Phase equilibriums are widely used as a method in the study of equilibrium relationships. In the salt industry, they are used to increase production efficiency, and also for the recovery of valuable chemicals.…”
