The solubilities of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides in titanium tetrachloride

Abstract: Measurements of the solubilities of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides in liquid titanium tetrachloride have been reported on several occasions.1-4 In one case1 the solubility of the tantalum compound was said to vary between 26 and 60 times that of the niobium compound in the range 25-100'.
