The IR spectra of the [Cu(L 1 )(NO 3 )H 2 O]∙NO 3 ∙3.5H 2 O, [Zn(L 1 )(NO 3 ) 2 ]∙4.5H 2 O and [Zn(L 2 ) 2 (NO 3 ) 2 ]∙DMF complexes show strong bands at 1385 and 1285 cm −1 assigned to ν as (NO 3 − ) and ν s (NO 3 − ), respectively, indicating the presence of terminally bounded monodentate nitrate groups [25,26].…”
