The System of Free Access Galactica to Compute Interactions of N-Bodies

Abstract: Abstract-The Galactica System is intended for resolving N-body interaction problems. It is based on a high-precision method for solving differential equations of motion of bodies whose interaction forces are inversely proportional to the squared distance. The differential equations of motion and their solution method are given in paper. The structure of the input file, the files of initial conditions and output files are described. The examples of these files for different solved tasks are presented. The actio… Show more

“…A high-precision method was developed to solve these equations, and it was later used to develop the Galactica system [22], which is free for access [23]. Viability of this method is confirmed by the solution of a number of problems in the contemporary celestial and space dynamics [24] - [28].…”

“…Для самой близкой к Солнцу планеты, Меркурия, такое упрощение приводило к недостатку вращения перигелия. Учет не точечной формы Солнца объясняет все движения в Солнечной системе, в том числе и вращение пе-ригелия [27]- [32].…”

“…Figure 7 shows the dynamics of insolation for 100 years. It is based on the results of the solutions for the orbital problem using the system Galactica (Smulsky, 2012) and the problem of the Earth's rotation (Smulsky, 2011) at simultaneous action of the planets, the Sun and the Moon on it. The dynamics of orbital motion is considered relative to the fixed Earth's equator, and the rotational motion of the Earth is studied relative to the fixed orbit of the Earth.…”

“…This value of P sd is derived as a result of generalization of the observation data for all the history of astronomical observations. While computing the interaction of the planets, the Sun and the Moon, it was received (Melnikov & Smulsky, 2009;Smulsky & Smulsky, 2012) that in different epochs the orbital periods change little about P sd . Therefore, this difference is neglected.…”
