Abstract: Infección por Mycobacterium avium en paciente con SIDA Sr. Director: El Mycobacterium avium intracelulare (MAC) es un microrga-nismo ubicuo de distribución geográfica universal. Se puede ais-lar de multiples fuentes. Su puerta de entrada es el tracto respira-torio y sobre todo gastrointestinal.
