Since we began our experiments Levinson, Neuwelt, and Necheles (1940) and Strumia, Wagner, and Monaghan (1940) have published interesting papers bearing on this subject. Strumia and his co-workers report the successful treatment, with relatively small doses of plasma, of patients suffering from surgical shock and haemorrhage.…”
