The use of indigenous games in the teaching and learning of Mathematics

Abstract: Indigenous games play an important role in various communities. Despite research indicating that these games can be used to advance and create a connection between classroom activities and the real life contexts, the connection has not been explored adequately to make this a reality in many mathematics classrooms.
