The use of radiofrequency‐assisted lipolysis with radiofrequency microneedling in premature jowl and neck laxity following facialplasty

Abstract: Background: A subset of facelift patients have premature redevelopment of skin laxity in the lower face and neck. Many patients seek alternatives to revision facelifts to avoid high risks and costs. Radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) with Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling may be alternative minimally invasive options. Objective/Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of radiofrequency energy devices for treatment of premature jowl and neck skin laxity following facialplasty. Methods: This is a single-center, prosp… Show more

“…15 After RFAL treatment, changes in skin and subcutaneous tissue remodeling may take longer time to be observed. 19 In our study, results showed that at 3 months after operation, 64.3% patients had a "markedly improvement" in skin appearance, which increased to 71.4% at 6 months in RFAL group. However, we did not see this change in traditional liposuction group.…”

“…The Sandwich thermal contraction of the "INSIDE-OUT" RFAL BodyTite, FaceTite and AccuTite FSN adipose contraction handpieces, combined with the "OUTSIDE-IN" adipo-dermal contraction of the Morpheus affords the BodyTite physician unprecedented control of the ENTIRE SOFT TISSUE ENVELOP and is the reason why clinicians can achieve the kind of "scar less" skin tightening results that are best in class and without compare, as they optimize the outcomes for all those FACE AND BODY GAP patients, who need control of the adipose FSA (30-40% contraction) subdermal space and transdermal remodeling (20-30%) and contraction, for a potential overall 60% Total Tissue Thermal contraction during enhanced liposuction [7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14].…”
