At present, more international talents are needed. English writing ability is an essential quality for such talents. However, by far the teaching of English writing is faced with some problems, that is, students lack interest and learn passively, teachers’ teaching methods are not diversified enough, and there are insufficient interactions between teachers and students in the classroom. How to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of English writing has become a top priority in the current teaching reform of English writing. By taking advantage of Internet information technology, this study establishes an online teaching mode for English writing. In view of the characteristics of the teaching of English writing, based on the classroom design concept of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). In the meantime, by integrating the project-based learning mode, we assign writing project questions and incorporate such steps as information collection, knowledge acquisition, solution discussion, peer collaboration, hands-on practice, etc. On the other hand, the neural network algorithm is also used to classify texts of electronic lecture notes. It is found through teaching practice, that the project-based learning based on the concept of ADDIE is an effective teaching way, which can significantly improve the effect of classroom teaching and enhance students’ learning initiative.

With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, the integration between information technology and teaching promotes the development of interactive teaching under the network environment, which has a great impact on teaching philosophy, teaching method, teaching mode, etc., as well as brings concerns on learning efficacy under network environment to foreign language teaching. Analyzing learning efficacy for interactive teaching under the network environment is of vital significance for implementing the network teaching. Through making the survey of a total of 153 valid undergraduates' questionnaires, and analyzing 153 undergraduates' performance under the interactive network teaching environment via SPSS 17.0, the research shows that cultivating strategies of promoting students' learning efficacy under the network environment should consist of improving network handling capacity, reducing computer anxiety, enriching successful network experience, etc. For foreign language teachers, more attention on students' psychological behavior phenomenon in networking learning will also effectively promote the implementation of interactive foreign language teaching under the network environment.

The article is devoted to the study of the elements of students’ communicative competence formation, taking into account the cognitive aspect of teaching foreign languages. This approach gives the opportunity to learn rationally lexical and grammatical material, as well as provides the enrichment of general worldview knowledge, which is inherent to the native speakers. The aim of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of using authentic auxiliary material in foreign language learning in order to optimize the educational process. Taking into account the functions presented by the media, working with journalistic and audiovisual materials is one of the leading parts within the framework of the cognitive-communicative approach to foreign language learning. The article provides the detailed analysis of the stages of working with the media material and the explanation of the productivity of their use during foreign language classes. The study analyzes three stages of working with the media on the example of a textual material, namely the pre-text, text and post-text stages, which provide information study, discussion and formation of a certain point of view on the communicative issue. This scheme of work can be used in the analysis of textual as well as audiovisual information that helps to increase the motivation of students and their interest concerning the proposed topic. According to the study results, each of the working stages improves the integrated knowledge of a foreign language. Working with the media while studying foreign languages provides the formation of a cognitive and communicative worldview while learning a number of lexical and grammatical elements as well as a range of skills how to apply them in certain communicative situations.
