“…Ablative fractional resurfacing with both Er:YAG and CO 2 lasers are effective for Asian photorejuvenation with improvements seen in fine lines and wrinkles, skin elasticity, mottled dyspigmentation, deep rhytides, pore size, and skin texture ). Li et al performed a split‐face trial utilizing a fractionated, 1.3 mm spot size, superficially ablative CO 2 laser with random computer pattern generated densities of levels 3–5 (roughly between 90% and 100% coverage), and pulse energies of 90–150 mJ in a single pass (UltraPulse, Active FX mode, Lumenis) and demonstrated improvements in all clinical parameters of photoaging at 3‐month follow‐up .…”

“…This was not to assess the safety and efficacy of laser and botulinum toxin therapy in combination per se as eligible study subjects had to receive the laser treatment for a non-GL indication. Rather, we wanted to evaluate the utility of botulinum toxin in a real-world setting in China, where there appears to be an increased interest in seeking more than one aesthetic modality to improve overall facial appearance, with laser therapy being a widespread treatment (20)(21)(22). Results from the current study suggest that onabotulinumtoxinA treatment in combination with laser therapy may be associated with longer duration of effect and similar side effects compared with onabotulinumtoxinA treatment alone.…”

“…We are not aware of any published studies in which this specific evaluation has been described. Noting the increasing interest among Chinese subjects to seek multiple aesthetic modalities to improve their overall facial appearance, we considered this assessment to be particularly relevant (20)(21)(22).…”

“…The patient will also undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy, given at a pressure of 200‐300 kPa, pure oxygen for 30 minutes followed by 10 minutes air, then 30 minutes pure oxygen which is repeated 1‐2 times per day for 10 days. The patients were instructed to use MEBT/MEBO for skin care . The MEBO ointment (Shangtou MEBO Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Co.) was applied directly to the affected embolization areas as a 1‐mm film, un‐occluded with cotton buds or clean paper towels.…”
