The use of video conferencing in pre-trial proceedings as a security measure for a participant in an investigative action

Abstract: The article discusses the main aspects of the use of video conferencing during interrogation, confrontation and identification during the preliminary investigation. The authors identified criminal procedural and forensic features of these investigative actions using video conferencing and presented reasonable recommendations for the effective implementation of evidence-based activities.
