Theoretical Regulation of Delimitation of Metal Level Decrease in the Furnace in Case of Pneumatic Dosing Device of Metal

Abstract: Article deals with the during operation of pneumatic dosing device designed for die casting machines where the metal level in the furnace decreases stepwise by which the period of dosing of the filling mould is prolonged. We also deal the regulation of delimitation of metal level decrease in the furnace based upon the pneumatic principle.

“…1. low speed -laminar filling (up to 0.3 m.s -1 ) 2. medium speed -continuous turbulent filling (0.5 -15 m.s -1 ) 3. high speed -disperse filling (25 -30 m.s -1 ). Based on the aforementioned point of view of the final quality of casting, the speed of mould cavity filling determined the filling mode and the casting temperature influences the thermal model of the mould and the casting [Ruzbarsky 2017, Cho 2014.…”

“…It is possible to reach by raising pressure of the machine working medium or lowering of the pressing piston diameter in the filling chamber. In both cases it is a danger of overcoming the die casting machine closing force (Ružbarský and Majerník, 2017). From it wastes that the value of the alloy viscosity it is not allowed to overcome the belonging frontier.…”
