Theory-Based Problem Formulation and Ideation in mHealth

Abstract: This article reports on an investigation into how to improve problem formulation and ideation in Design Science Research (DSR) within the mHealth domain. A Systematic Literature Review of problem formulation in published mHealth DSR papers found that problem formulation is often only weakly performed, with shortcomings in stakeholder analysis, patient-centricity, clinical input, use of kernel theory, and problem analysis. The study proposes using Coloured Cognitive Mapping for DSR (CCM4DSR) as a tool to improv… Show more

“…The primary objective of this study is to design and develop an automatic instrument monitoring and control system based on AI algorithms, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of instrument monitoring and control in industrial production. The system's design will leverage modern AI technologies, such as deep learning, machine learning, and data analysis, to achieve highly intelligent monitoring and control (Jones & Venable, 2022).…”

“…This principle leverages the high-frequency component of voltage faults to achieve phase selection by comparing the frequency domain characteristics of mode transformation in the three-phase voltage across various phases. The utilization of data mining technology is discussed for the establishment of a decision tree within the power system fault model (Zhao, Y, et al, 2017) (Jones & Venable, 2022). Furthermore, enhancements to this decision tree result in the development of a prediction system that encompasses an inference engine, interpreter, decision tree algorithm, and a comprehensive graphical user interface.…”
