Thermocapillary-Buoyancy Convection in Annular Two-layer System with a Radial Temperature Gradient

Abstract: In order to understand the characteristics of thermocapillary-buoyancy convection in the annular two-layer system of 5cSt silicone oil and HT-70 with a radial temperature gradient, a set of twodimensional numerical simulations are carried out using the finite-volume method. The annular two-layer system is heated from the outer cylindrical wall and cooled at the inner cylindrical wall.
