Abstract: ObjectivesThe objective of this study was to assess all evidence comparing the Thompson monoblock hemiarthroplasty with modular unipolar implants for patients requiring hemiarthroplasty of the hip with respect to mortality and complications.MethodsA literature search was performed to identify all relevant literature.
