Thoracoscopic Versus Open Partial Pericardectomy in Dogs: Comparison of Postoperative Pain and Morbidity

Abstract: Thoracoscopic partial pericardectomy has several advantages over open partial pericardectomy including decreased postoperative pain, fewer wound complications, and more rapid return to function.
