Three high doses of buprenorphine in the treatment of prolonged and severe opium dependence: a new access

Abstract: Background: Heavy and prolonged opium dependence is a progressing problem in the East. For the treatment of opium dependence, buprenorphine can be prescribed less frequently than daily due to its long half-life. Objective: To administered three high doses buprenorphine instead of daily use to reduce probability of buprenorphine dependence.
