“…5 Aerwards, numerous studies were extensively concerned with investigating various methods for the synthesis of CQDs and studying their outstanding and superior properties, such as chemical inertness, amazing luminescence, low cost, excellent biocompatibility, and abundance of raw materials. [6][7][8][9][10][11][12] CQDs are mainly composed of C, H and O elements, while different organic and inorganic starting materials can be successively exploited in their synthesis. Polysaccharides as natural organic polymers can be successively employed in the generation of CQDs, which are supposed to be decorated with different functional groups.…”

“…Dialysis as a step of ultra-purification of the ingrained PDs was performed for obtaining mono-dispersed PDs. The affinity of the current approach in nucleation of PDs was confirmed via different instruments like UV−visible spectroscopic analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), FTIR, 1 HNMR, and 13 CNMR. Consequently, the photoluminescence of the clustered PDs was also studied, while the superiority in optical sensitiveness of the synthesized PDs was exploited for the detection of silver ions.…”

“…The absorbance was detected in the range of 500−4000 cm −1 using 15 points smoothing, 4 cm −1 resolution, and 64 scanning times with a scanning rate of 2 mm s −1 . Spectral mapping of nuclear magnetic resonance ( 1 H NMR and 13 C NMR) was detected on a Jeol-Ex-300 NMR spectrometer (JEOL-Japan). Photoluminescence for the synthesized PDs was monitored via spectro-fluorometer (JASCO FP8300).…”
