Tingkat Bahaya Erosi Di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan, Kabupaten Badung, Bali

Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata di wilayah Kecamatan Kuta Selatan diikuti dengan semakin berkembangnyalahan terbangun. Fenomena ini tentunya akan berdampak pada kondisi lahan, khususnya bahaya erosiyang dapat menyebabkan pendangkalan sungai atau sedimentasi di bibir pantai. Berdasarkan haltersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju erosi dan tingkat bahaya erosi di wilayah kajian(Kuta Selatan). Analisis Tingkat bahaya erosi dan besaran laju erosi di Kecamatan Kuta Selatanmenggunakan metode USLE dari Wischmeier dan Smith (1978) dengan menggunakan 4 jenis informasidasar untuk menghasilkan indeks Erositivitas, Erodibilitas, Panjang dan kemiringan lereng, dan faktorpengelolaan lahan/tanaman. Empat jenis data / informasi dasar yang digunakan yaitu data curah hujan,peta jenis tanah, kemiringan, dan peta penutupan lahan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwaberdasarkan data dasar, wilayah kajian didominasi solum tanah sangat dangkal. Hal ini berpengaruhpada tingkat bahaya erosi yang berat pada sebagian besar wilayah kajian dengan laju erosi rata – ratakurang dari 15 ton/ha/tahun.

Threat Existence to Limestone Formations Around Goa Peteng in South Bali Island, Indonesia

“…The types of soil found in the Goa Peteng environment are Regosol soil and some Mediterranean soil (Kurniawan, 2020) which shows that the location is a young area with a neutral to slightly wet pH. The Mediterranean soil that dominates the area can give potential for erosion in the area and can impact the river development in the Valley of Tukad Guapeteng.…”

The Southern Formations on the island of Bali are also included in the Tropical area, but this location has relatively low rainfall (Kurniawan, 2020;Supriyati et al, 2018). Through appearance data from Google Earth remote sensing imagery (Bharata & Rahman, 2021b) and field observations from the vegetation cover of the surrounding environment, including non-built lands such as open land, bushes, and mixed plants that indicate low vegetation density.…”
