Tingkat Kepuasan Penggunaan Media Instagram @officialkvibes Pada Grup Line K-Popers Indonesia

Abstract

The popularity of K-pop is increasing rapidly among the public every year, making K-pop fans want to know more things about K-pop information. The Instagram account @Officialkvibes is always provide the latest information about K-pop that is currently being popular topics in South Korea. The intention of this study is to discover how high satisfaction the K-pop fan community of the Line Kpopers Indonesia group uses Instagram @Officialkvibes media to read information and news about K-pop. This study uses several supporting theories and concepts, such as Uses and Gratification, New Media, Social Media, Instagram, and Fans (Fandom). This study uses a quantitative approach, using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. This research technique uses probability sampling in method of simple random sampling, where in this study the population is the Indonesian Line Kpopers group. The data obtained is processed by finding the mean value in Gratification Sought (GS) and Gratification Obtained (GO). The mean GS score (4.06) is smaller than the mean GO score (4.16) (GS<GO) so it shows Kpop fans of the Line Kpopers Indonesia group are satisfied with the information shared by the Instagram account @Officialkvibes because Gratification Obtained (GO) higher than Gratification Sought (GS) with all the indicators category are in the high range. Kepopuleran K-pop yang semakin meningkat di kalangan masyarakat setiap tahunnya, membuat para penggemar K-pop ingin mengetahui lebih banyak mengenai hal-hal seputar K-pop tersebut. Akun Instagram @Officialkvibes hadir untuk selalu memberikan informasi terbaru mengenai K-pop yang sedang hangat dibicarakan di Korea Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu seberapa tinggi tingkat kepuasan komunitas penggemar K-pop grup Line Kpopers Indonesia menggunakan media Instagram @Officialkvibes untuk membaca informasi dan berita seputar K-pop. Penelitian ini memakai beberpa penunjang teori dan konsep yaitu Uses and Gratification, Media Baru (New Media), Media Sosial, Instagram, dan Penggemar (Fandom). Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 100 responden. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan Probability Sampling dengan metodenya berupa simple random sampling, dimana pada penelitian ini populasinya berupa grup Line yang bernama Kpopers Indonesia. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan mencari nilai mean pada Gratification Sought (GS) dan Gratification Obtained (GO). Perolehan nilai mean GS (4,06) lebih kecil daripada nilai mean GO (4,16) (GS<GO) sehingga menunjukkan penggemar Kpop grup Line Kpopers Indonesia puas terhadap informasi yang dibagikan oleh akun Instagram @Officialkvibes karena Gratification Obtained (GO) lebih besar dibandingkan Gratification Sought (GS) dengan keseluruhan indikator kategorinya berada pada rentang tinggi.
