Tinjauan Kritis Statements Para Tokoh Tentang Kasus Tanah Golo Mori dalam Pemberitaan Media Massa Daring (Critical Review of Personages Statements About the Golo Mori Land Dispute in the Online Mass Media Reportation)

Abstract

This study aims to critically review the statements of personages related to the land dispute Golo Mori in West Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara Timur, at the online mass media consists of Kompas.com, cnnindonesia.com, Poskupang.com, and Voxntt.com. In collecting data the researchers used the listening method, reading and notetaking techniques. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the content analysis method which was applied through the stages of identification, classification, and meaning of the data. The results showed that the statements of the characters were always repeated; use passive sentences and negative sentences that refer to certain meanings. Each media is unique in its reporting. Two national online media focused more on the authorities, while the other two regional media focused on victims and advocates. Land dispute resolution is actually an ancestral heritage that should be considered as a cultural norm in conflict resolution.
