Abstract:Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic respiratory airway disease characterized by both pulmonary and systemic inflammatory response and associated extra-pulmonary complications. Female gender, age and smoking are common pathogenic risk factors for both COPD and osteoporosis.
