“…In my last Editorial for the European Journal of Psychological Assessment , entitled Tradition and Innovation (Westmeyer, 2006), I invited distinguished scholars in the field of psychological assessment to submit “contributions that address innovative methods off the beaten track” (p. 2). Therefore, I was very pleased when two leading members of the European Network for Ambulatory Assessment , Ulrich Ebner-Priemer and Thomas Kubiak, suggested the publication in the European Journal of Psychological Assessment of a Special Issue on Advances in the Methodology of Ambulatory Assessment and announced the submission of seven manuscripts dealing with various aspects of ambulatory assessment.…”
