The purpose of this chapter is to present secondary data around how the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) are adopted in a global context whilst making comparisons with the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index from the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report 2019. The discussion is centred around young adults (Generation Z) and their potential role and importance. In essence, we are trying to examine if tourism sustainability educational practice adopted within countries appears to transition into industry practice. For this, we consider success both from the perspective of tourism sustainability and general economic competitiveness. The findings suggest significant gaps (or current failure) between PRME delivery and achieving tourism sustainability globally, but generally highlights economic success where PRME uptake is strong. Thus, it would appear that PRME is not yet transitioning into industry practice; therefore, more needs to be done or adapted to achieve greater tourism sustainability, and we emphasise the role of Generation Z within this.

Apart from the ability to survive Banyuwangi tourism against the Covid-19 pandemic, research conducted in 2021 found that the Banyuwangi tourism hexahelix development model was less than optimal. The relationship between stakeholders has not been synergized, and there are still overlapping roles between stakeholders. The results of the focus group discussion (FGD) conducted in 2021 show that there needs to be a study to develop technical recommendations for optimizing the Banyuwangi tourism hexahelix development model to maintain the sustainability of Banyuwangi tourism development. This research approach is case study research. Types of research included descriptive, quantitative, and qualitative research. The data were analyzed with a descriptive method to determine the internal and external conditions that affect the development of Banyuwangi tourism and then used the analysis of internal factor evaluation (IFE), external factor evaluation (EFE), strengths-weakness-opportunitiesthreats (SWOT) to formulate a technical recommendation strategy for strengthening the Banyuwangi tourism hexahelix development modelThe abstract needs to summarize the content of the paper. The result shows there are 4 strategies that can be used to optimize the hexahelix model of Banyuwangi tourism development activation of the Regional Tourism Promotion Board (BPPD) Banyuwangi, intensive promotion by promoting the image of "Majestic Banyuwangi", a collaboration between stakeholders to create tour package innovations, and training on tourism attraction management and strengthening of human tourism resources.

El propósito de este estudio es examinar como contribuyen los distintos tipos de riesgos (terrorismo, accidente, delincuencia, salud, catástrofes) a los que se enfrenta los turistas a la percepción de riesgo final sobre los destinos. Asimismo, el trabajo analiza el efecto moderador del destino en las relaciones causales establecidas entre los tipos de riesgos y el riesgo percibido. Para ello se comparan dos grupos de destinos: Europa (Islas Canarias, España) y Latinoamérica, con los destinos de Brasil y Colombia. El trabajo se realizó mediante encuestas online a través de una empresa especializada en los mercados potenciales de Alemania y Reino Unido. El análisis se llevó a cabo mediante un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM) para probar las relaciones causales planteadas. Aunque la percepción de seguridad y protección y su influencia en el comportamiento del turismo es importante para la promoción y gestión de las actividades turísticas, su análisis empírico ha recibido una atención limitada entre los investigadores. Los resultados de este trabajo muestran interesantes conclusiones prácticas y académicas para las organizaciones empresariales y la promoción de los destinos turísticos. The purpose of this study is to examine how the different types of risks (terrorism, accident, crime, health, catastrophes) that tourists face contributes to the perception of final risk on destinations. Likewise, the paper analyzes the moderating effect of destination in the causal relationships established between the types of risks and the perceived risk. For this, two groups of destinations are compared: Europe (Canary Islands, Spain) and Latin America, with the destinations of Brazil and Colombia. The work was carried out through online surveys through a company specialized in the potential markets of Germany and the United Kingdom. The analysis was carried out using a model of structural equations (SEM) to prove the causal relationships raised. Although the perception of safety and protection and its influence on the behavior of tourism is important for the promotion and management of tourism activities, its empirical analysis has received limited attention among researchers. The results of this work show interesting practical and academic conclusions for business organizations and the promotion of tourist destinations.
