Trans-Season Reliability of Physical Fitness Testing in Students of “Tourism” Speciality

Abstract: The study purpose was to prepare a model of the trans-season reliability of physical fitness testing on the example of “Tourism” speciality students. Material and Methods. A total of 50 university first year bachelor’s students studying “Tourism” as a business service were involved in the physical fitness testing: 20 males with body mass 67.3±9.5 kg (M±SD) and body length 174.6±5.6 cm; and 30 females (body mass 59.6±7.3 kg, body length 163.9±5.2 cm). Monthly testing was conducted seven times from Septemb… Show more

“…The study integrates scientific ideas that progress in the field of knowledge of the theory and methods of physical education, increasing the importance of the scientific component, and requires the development of automated control using the potential of ICT (Kok, Komen, van Capelleveen, & Van der Kamp, 2020;Zanevskyy, & Labartkava, 2020). The implementation of information processes of collecting, accumulating, storing, transmitting, processing and presenting (displaying) information of test control of back muscle strength in physical education of students using ICT ensures the effectiveness of the control process, which is consistent with the ideas presented in existing research (Chow, Chung, Ma, Macfarlane, & Shirley, 2017;Koryahin, Mykytyuk, Turchyn, Blavt, Prystynskyi, & Stadnyk, 2021).…”

“…In modern science, attention is focused on the need to significantly improve the quality of scientific research and make radical changes in the organization and examination of the results of physical education (Khudolii et al, 2019;Zanevskyy, & Labartkava, 2020;Solohubova et al, 2020). Control of the results of physical education of students, which is positioned as a powerful mechanism of influence and management, is the basis of the effectiveness of physical education of students (Koryahin, Mykytyuk, Blavt, Dolnikova, & Stadnyk, 2020;Shettar, Lathiwale, & Kulhalli, 2021).…”
