Transactional Analysis Counseling Groups

Abstract: This article describes the characteristics of transactional analysis counseling groups and identifies specific aspects that differentiate them from transactional analysis therapy groups. The author offers a definition of transactional analysis counseling and then focuses on the group setting and the group leader's role. These reflections are based on experiences in which transactional analysis was used as a methodology for group counseling. A group experience with adolescents is provided as an example.
