Transcription of Listeria monocytogenes Key Virulence Genes on Tomato, Cucumber and Carrot

Abstract: The aim of the present study was to assess the transcription of Listeria monocytogenes key virulence genes, namely sigB, prfA, hly, plcA, plcB, inlA, inlB, inlC and inlJ during subsistence on the surface of tomato, cucumber and carrot stored at 4, 10 and 30 °C for 0, 0.5, 6 and 24 h.
