The development of science and technology during the Covid-19 pandemic re-quires universities to prepare their students to have collaborative and problem-solving skills through appropriate learning today, namely, integrating learning with online technology. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of im-plementing collaborative problem-based learning (CPBL) integrated with online learning on student collaborative and problem-solving skills. The research meth-od used was quantitative with a post-test quasi-experimental design involving fourth-semester students in the Early Childhood Education Study Program, Uni-versitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The effectiveness of implementing CPBL integrated with online learning was analyzed primarily using the t-independent sample test. The study results showed that the implementation of CPBL integrated with online learning effectively improved students’ collaborative and problem-solving skills. This effectiveness especially occurs when construct-ing knowledge, looking for resolution strategies, and evaluating solutions in breakout rooms and collaborative forums and zoom meetings. Meanwhile, the study results recommend that CPBL integrated with online learning can be used as a solution and an essential study for academics to keep familiarizing and prac-ticing collaborative and problem-solving skills that are relatively difficult to im-prove during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This study aimed to demonstrate the Research-based Digital Madrasah history and technology-based learning strategies and developments. It is a qualitative descriptive study that uses in-depth interviews for collecting data from informants, including the head of a madrasah, educators, and students, which are analyzed by N-Vivo Software. The results indicated several learning strategies in Research-based Digital Madrasah that were applied and integrated with technology. This includes the use of the tablet in the learning process, especially for the seventh-grade students who were directed at 100% digital-based learning processes. They utilized the technology application in learning, including the Arabic language learning, such as the Alef application, and digital-based academic and non-academic service management. The result confirms that the implementation of strategies in technology-based learning significantly supports madrasah development in the future. Styles of teaching and learning are one of the factors that contribute to student learning performance. This study aimed to determine the students’ preferred teaching and learning styles in the new normal education implemented during the pandemic. Moreover, a quantitative-descriptive design was used to attain the research objectives. A total of thirty-item questionnaires were categorized using the three learning theories: Constructivist Learning Theory, Self-Actualization Theory, and Transformative Learning Theory. A total of three-hundred forty-four (344) college students from the University of Mindanao-Digos participated in the study. Results showed that students have a high level of preference for Constructivist Learning Theory, Self-Actualization Theory, and Transformative Learning Theory in teaching and learning style in the new normal. When analyzed by department, Self-Actualization Theory and Transformative Learning Theory showed significant differences, while Constructivist Learning Theory showed no significant difference. In terms of year level, Constructivist Learning Theory and Transformative Learning Theory showed no significant difference while Self-Actualization theory showed significant difference. Thus, it is recommended that professors should utilize a constructivist, self-actualization, and transformative teaching and learning approach to college learners and implement a learning style suited to the year level and department of students
