Transposon studies on Colchium chalcedonicum

Abstract: Colchicum chalcedonicum is one of the endemic plants in Turkey. The aim of this study was the investigation of the retrotransposon SIRE1, Sukkula and Nikita presence and insertion patterns in C. chalcedonicum.
