Treatment of a Large Pharyngeal Venous Malformation using Transoral Sclerotherapy

Abstract: Summary: Management of venous malformation (VM) in the pharynx is challenging because of difficulties in needle access and the presence of nerves as well as other critical anatomical structures around the lesion. We describe the successful treatment of a large pharyngeal VM using transoral sclerotherapy.
