Treatment of Chemotherapy-Induced Oral Mucositis with Light-Emitting Diode

Abstract: This pilot study shows that LED treatment is safe and capable of reducing the duration of chemotherapy-induced mucositis. This result needs to be confirmed in an adequate phase III study.
