Abstract:Type 2 diabetes mellitus represents a significant global health problem contributing to a considerably increased atherosclerotic burden and cardio-and cerebrovascular risk. Type 2 diabetes mellitus has high incidence and prevalence affecting both genders at any time of life worldwide.
