Tuberculosis of the Breast

Abstract: PATIENT 1 (SECONDARY FORM)A 69-year-old woman with a painful fixed lump growing rapidly in the upper outer quadrant of her left breast presented to our hospital for investigation. She reported that when she was 22 years old she developed pulmonary tuberculosis manifested primarily as pleural effusion.Fine-needle aspiration cytology was consistent with granulomatous suppurative lesion.
