Imaging of soft‐tissue tumors

“…Elastofibroma is generally considered a fibroelastic pseudotumor which occurs in older women (>55 years old), almost exclusively in the subscapular region beneath the rhomboideus major and latissimus dorsi muscles adjacent to the inferior angle of the scapula (Table 6) (45). Bilateral lesions are seen in 10%–60% of patients (45). CT scans show attenuation similar to that of adjacent muscle.…”
