Tunable acoustic bursts for customized tapered fiber Bragg structures

Abstract: The inscription of customized fiber Bragg structures under acoustic excitation is proposed and demonstrated. By setting the proper acoustic excitation function, the desired spectrum of the grating can be achieved.
