The use of a common language in interprofessional collaboration is essential. The World Health Organization's International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) has been identified as a unifying framework for interprofessional collaboration and the identification of client needs. Higher education institutions (HEIs) offer ICF framework education to students but is it enough to enable graduated professionals to implement the ICF in clinical work? In our experience, the ICF education provided by HEIs does not meet the requirements of clinical practice, which might be due to gaps in teaching ICF to students (education) and specific requirements for teaching ICF to professionals already working in rehabilitation (training). This paper discusses the need for the ICF training in practice and ways to address it. Although many rehabilitation center professionals had previously received ICF education provided by the HEIs, the rehabilitation centers felt the need to develop their own practical training materials that could be applied to their own environment. Overall, 18 different ICF-based materials were developed during the Erasmus+ project called INPRO to promote person-centered and interprofessional practice in the rehabilitation centers. The practical training using real cases was considered valuable. It could be further developed in cooperation with HEIs and vice versa. It could also be used to teach students, i.e., future colleagues. To deepen and broaden the integration of the different materials based on the ICF, it is important to continue the interactive discussion between HEIs and clinical practice, and between management and its staff.

The decision to purchase the best available electric power wheelchair (EPWC) for a person with a disability in a low-resource context is very stressful, whether it is based on financial circumstances or the availability of medical solutions. The study's objective is to assess the EPWC options available on the market, focused on a set of conflicting criteria. In this research, three multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approaches are used to make decisions. ENTROPY method for weightage calculation of various parameters, COPRAS and EDAS methods for evaluating and ranking alternatives are applied. Both COPRAS and EDAS are applied separately for ranking of selected wheelchair models, and to check the robustness of the applied method, sensitivity analysis on cost criterion is carried out. The result shows that for both methods, EPWC-1 is the top priority model to buy, whereas EPWC-7 is the worst model for COPRAS, and EPWC-10 is the worst model for EDAS among the ten alternatives.

Developing Health Promotion programs and interventions for people with disabilities during undergraduate health courses represents a relevant strategy to ensure comprehensive, equitable and universal care. Objective: to describe and reflect on two Brazilian experiences focused on promoting the health of people with physical disabilities within the scope of university extension. Method: this is the report of experiences derived from the “Praia Sem Barreiras” Project in Recife (PE) and the “Remo Meu Rumo” Project in São Paulo (SP), Brazil. Results: both activities are interdisciplinary, interprofessional and intersectoral. They focus on relationships between Higher Education Institutions and articulate community partnerships focusing on well-being, self-care and physical activity and leisure. Final Considerations: it is evident that the performance of undergraduate health students and professors excelled in the use of public spaces in the city as a powerful strategy for social inclusion, collaborative learning and the exercise of citizenship. However, it is necessary to broaden the discussion on developing Health Promotion skills to prepare the health sector workforce with greater sensitivity to the needs of people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
