“…In our opinion it is extremely needed to report about lesser-known diseases occurring possibly in the orofacial region. In earlier as well as recent literature only few articles exist dealing with case reports of plasmocytoma (2,3,9), mostly of the extramedullary type in soft tissue emphasizing the clinical manifestation (4,5) or rare combination with other malignancies (6). Epidemiologic evidence of the outcomes based on literature study is still controversial although radical surgery in combination with postoperative irradiation and chemotherapy provides acceptable results (7,8,4).…”
