In the literature, possible associations with atopic dermatitis [2], stress, anorexia nervosa and nutritional disturbances as well as diabetes mellitus [3] and ketoacidosis have frequently been discussed. “…Prurigo pigmentosa (PP), first described by Nagashima in 1971, is a rare inflammatory dermatitis characterized by recurrent, pruritic erythematous papules coalescing to form a reticulated pattern and distributed symmetrically on the back, neck and chest 1 . Although PP's aetiology remains unknown, it has been reported that some contact allergens such as trichlorophenol 2 and chromium 3 , have been associated with PP. We want to present a case of PP in a patient with nickel sensitivity.…”
