“…(Araliaceae) has long been used in Korean folk medicine to treat cough, cancer, and diabetes . Saponins, oleanolic acid, and β-sitosterol 3- O -β- d -glucoside have been reported from the EtOAc-soluble fraction. , Among these isolates, oleanolic acid 28- O -β- d -glucoside was identified as one of the components having hypoglycemic activity .
