In animal and human experiments bacteriosidic penicillin concentrations have been demonstrated in the aqueous humor after large parenteral doses, whereas considerably lower concentrations have been observed in the vitreous humor (Saubermann, 1956, Papapanos et al, 1961. von Sallman et al (1944) found in rabbits after a dose of 33 000 IU/kg of intramuscular sodium penicillin a concentration of 1.1 IUJml in the aqueous humor.…”
